Twice a week, squash players meet at Fantofthallen to practise this unrecognized but highly-intensive sport. Although it has similarities with tennis, squash differs a lot from its distant cousin. Both players are standing in the same room, which makes the game very dynamic. “It’s high adrenaline, high cardio, and a lot of fun” says Edward Svihus, one of them. Alongside technique and reactivity, strategy is also a key to beat your opponent. Although the sport does not have a lot of enthusiasts, players hope that they will attract new members and get better playing conditions in the future.
